it's time to challenge the dogma that power cleans must be the backbone of your off-season program. Let's look at alternatives.

One dogma is as entrenched in sports coaches' minds as a Texan's love for good barbecue:


 


If you are going to develop a good sports performance program, you should base it upon a foundation in the Olympic lifts, particularly if you want to develop quick bursts of power for phosphate-dominant sports like football, track and field, or volleyball.
